ilr refusal and paper marriage

Dear sir/madam

i am about to apply for ilr on tire 1 general bases in jan 2015. i ll achieve 10 year residency in feb 2016. i am wondering if say the ho refuses my ilr in january 2015 is there any way i could drag my legal stay to one more year up to feb 2016 to apply for ilr on 10 year legal residency.
my wife will also apply who is here in uk for 5 months, and 2 months old baby born in uk.
i would appreciate if some one advise me what is my best bet.

well i am worried about it because i have paid the tax as self employed on tier 1 based in

2009/10 £900
2010/11 £300
2011/12 £200
2012/13 £400
2013/14 £900
2014/ 15 due probably will pay around £5000.
do you think the HO will see how much i paid more than a year back.

They do different check.
In my understanding (as i am not an expert) and just giving you advice.

In your case, as you are self-employed and they will most probably check your tax-payments. I do not know your case in detail so cannot comment further and I think that is the reason that others did not reply to your questions.

If they refuse your application then how would you drag your stay for another year?...this is very tricky question you are asking in the public forum
