Does spouse need to apply for ILR dependant?

Dear all,

I've got my ILR sorted (5 yrs on T2 (G)). My wife has been in the UK with me for all this time except for almost 6 months absence during maternity. She's been a PBS Dependent all these years.

Her current leave to remain as PBS dependent is valid until 01/2018.

I'm assuming my current employer will have to write to UKVI to cancel my Tier 2 (General) Leave to Remain within 10 days now that my ILR is approved.

Does she still need to apply for ILR dependent or her existing BRP should still be fine for travel in & out of country? We need to plan our out of country holidays soon & just wondering if we need to sort out her ILR dependent visa first.

Thanks for looking & appreciate your replies. Many thanks.

Should be okay.

Isn't she eligible for SET(O) now?

Thank you.

Yes she's eligible for SET(O). We'd been waiting for getting my ILR approved first. Didn't want to risk money.

She will now start preparing for LIUK test & plans to apply for ILR dependent in near future.

Just wanted to confirm if we had to make any out of country travel in the meantime, her current BRP with Leave to Remain which is valid till 01/2018 will still be good & there will be no issues when re-entering the country on same BRP as PBS dependent.
