Hi Gurus, Need some help again. I will be applying for my ILR in June 2016. I have my own limited company and I take salary and dividends. Since the 12 months earning period covers 2 financial years I am thinking of taking same amount of dividend for 10 months which will be till March 2016 and then take a big chunk of dividend in April 2016 and May 2016 to reach the required earnings for my points. Can I do that ? or do I need to distribute my dividend in 12 equal amounts leading upto the ILR application ? Help appreciated.

You are absolutely fine scattering the dividend to various dates depending on your circumstances. As long as you have enough dividend to declare in your firm(post VAT & taxes) you are fine.
In fact I had my extension by just 4 dividend declaration scattered around various dates split over two financial years (of my company)

You can even take one dividend of all the money
but you will need the dividend voucher, bank statement, and accountant letter to prove that
