Hi all experts

My ILR is due this 18th October 2015.
I have a traffic offence of IN14 back in January 2011, convicted by court with 6 points and £200 fine.

Date of offence : 11/01/2011
Date of conviction : 25/03/2011

I would like to know should I submit my ILR application this Oct 2015 or wait till my conviction is spent which is 25/03/2016??

Could you all also direct me to websites for CRB and SAR checks???

DO NOT go with any checks as 24 months has been lapsed on 25.03.2013 and you are free to apply for ILR.

Hi mate.

You are confusing DVLA with HO. The points will remove from license after 5 years but you can apply for ILR after 24 months.

Hello mate

The rehabilation of offenders act has been changed since last two years and now outside of immigration matters the non-custodial sentence only stays on your record for one year rather five years. For UKVI they consider 24 months from the date of conviction before the fine was issued. For DVLA its still the same 5 years for points on licence
