how to apply for UK born child after ILR

Hi
I have just received my ILR. I have a dependent (5 years old) but i did not apply for her as i thought i would just apply for British passport for her after my ILR.
Can someone please tell me what form do i need or any link for the guidance etc?

Where was she born, in the UK or abroad?
You cannot apply directly for a passport anyway. Depending on your answer to the above question, will depending on whether you can register her as BC on form MN1.

UK born. Do i need to apply for MN1. Someone said i need to get some certificate probably from local council or something. If someone knows the whole process, please guide.

Yes, it is form MN1 and it will be registration as British Citizen under section 1(3) of the nationality act, which is an entitlement to register as child was born in the UK. You can apply once you have been granted ILR.
Once the registration as BC is approved, you will received a Certificate of Registration for the child and this is what you need to then apply for a passport.

In MN1 form, question 1.3 asks for "Child has indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK. Date Granted" but the child was a UK born and Tier 1 dependent so child's leave is dependent not indefinite and its ending 12th of May. Only the mother has Indefinite issued 5 days ago. so what should be the answer?
Cr001 or anyone else please help?

Leave blank as child is UK born, it is not relevant.

Hello Goga12,
Can you please tell me the procedure if you have done ?
I will get my ILR in June this year...so I guess its the same process.
However initially I have to get Birth certificate from Registrar Office correct ?
is it the short birth certificate or full birth certificate ? What is the difference and which is useful for us.
