hi gurus,

My History:-


I am going to apply for ILR in jan 16, currently holding tier1 general.

Got first tier1 in 2010 used 2 source of income paye(worked for 4 months) and paye(still working).
in extension used 2 source of income paye and Self Employed.

now as part of ILR Application i called first time to hmrc about my tax history letter which i received yesterday and found there is no any record of my first company where i worked 4 months and got information that they were bankrupt and i cant do anything rightnow.



what should i do now i got all my pay slips and bank statement only and for my first extension all tax were paid on time.


pls help me gurus, i am new in this forum and really need ur help.

Have you got P60/P45 from your 1st company. If yes then you will be fine.

I have only payslip and bank stmt.
Spoke with few accountants they said nothing can happen now as company been closed down.
Only option through court which is lengthy process and may affect the case.

So confused pls give any advice....

I got my first visa on 26/01/2007 (as a student) but enter UK on 07/02/2007.

could anybody pls advice when my 10 year will finish and how early i am eligible for long residence visa (10 year).

If you meet all the requirements, you will qualify for ILR based on 10 years long residence in 2017. The start date of your qualifying period is the date you ENTERED the UK.

HO will still check your tax and employment history even if you apply based on long residence.

i never done any cheat and got all pay slips and bank statements, even got extension after that without any problem.

Do your payslips for those first months show tax deducted from your pay?

You can try and provide and explanation to HO and submit the HMRC letter and evidence of the company's bankruptcy which should be freely available on the insolvency register.

yes my payslip have NI deduction and tax deduction.

spoke with my friend we worked together in this company he said company were dissolved.
and now there is nothing showing in company house when I tried to search against company name....
