As this is ILR/PR related, I have moved it to the ILR forum (from the BC) forum. Not all migrants apply for BC, many remain on ILR/PR.

@haiksuresh thanks very much, this is very interesting to see.
As you can see from for Sep-15 the the visa granted has been much reduced as compare to the Jan-15.
In Jan-15: 9,170 - 8375 = 795 hasn't been granted.
Sep-15: 7,450 - 3,390 = 4060 people hasn't been granted. which is huge difference.
You can clearly see the crack down.

I'm not entirely sure that there is a crackdown. Not granted is not the same as refused. There isn't much that can necessarily be read from this as the statistics do not make it clear whether the cases which are not granted are still open or refused.

Its a huge difference between the two which shows the scrutiny of the cases now. Please don't loose hopes do your best and believe in yourself.

Can this many people really have been engaging in tax deception?
That is stunning, and depressing. When are the next lot out? I think they might be even worse based on the threads in this forum.

You comment is not realistic. There are many categories of visas (Tier 2, Tier 1 Ent, Spouse visa, Ancestry visa, ILR LR) that lead to ILR, not only Tier 1 General. There are a number of reasons why any of the visa category migrants are refused ILR and possibly granted another extension etc.
