Tier-1 General - ILR application due 21 August 2016.

Dear friends,

I came into UK on 1-August-2011 (Tier-1 Visa stamped on Heathrow on this date).
Had to go back to pick family (on Dependent Visa) which got stamped on 22-Oct-2011.
Since then we have been living in the UK and completing 5 years this August 2016, eligible to apply for ILR.
Few queries, request clarification and guidance please -

1. Since I am main applicant completing 5 years this August '16, do the dependents automatically become eligible to apply for ILR with me?

2. fact that they entered 2 months later after me in 2011, do they automatically get eligible for 5 year completion, though they have not completed 5 years by the calendar months?

(All of above is assuming the PBS is clear, Life in UK test cleared by me and my wife)

Thanks in advance for your attention and response.

Sam.

Dear friends, I am sharing dates from last 5 years for my and my family(Wife and 2 children) entry into UK with queries, request if you can clarify please!

Sequence of travel into UK for self (primary applicant) and family (dependents):
1. Date of my 1st Entry in UK - 1st August, 2011 (UK stamping First time since issued in September 2008).
2. Following this, Family dependent Visa applied back in India and issued on their passport's dated 14
September, 2011.
3. Family travels and enters UK First time on 22 October 2011.
4. My and family's current BRP Valid until 21 August 2016.

Two clarifications requested:
1. I become eligible to apply for ILR on 21 August 2016 - though I being the primary applicant entered
first time on 01 August 2011 - Which is the actual date to be considered for calculating 5 years hence
for ILR application?
2. As my family Visa got stamped in UK First time after 2 months and 3 weeks later from my date (Pls refer
to (1) and (3) above for dates) - does this create challenge for all of us as family to complete 5 years
validity and hence be eligible for ILR coming August 2016?

Warm regards,
Sameer Srivastava

Have you bothered to click on and read the link that geriatrix provided?

If you entered on 1st Aug, why do you think you only qualify on 21st Aug?

PBS Dependents pre July 2012 only require 2 years residence. They will qualify for ILR at the same time as you.
