Hi ,

My case looks something similar .
1) Entry clearance workpermit visa from April 2007 to April 2009
2) extenstion in UK from April 2009 to April 2011 .
3) left UK in November 2009 and was away for 1.5 years
4) Applied for Tier 2 ICT Established staff in April 2011 from India before visa expiry.
5) entered UK in May 2011 and switched to tier 2 general in Feb 2015.

Can I apply for ILR with 5 years continuous period as June 2011 to June 2016 .

I wasn't really sure in May 2016 to apply for ILR or not . Finally decided to take a chance and applied in first week of May 2017. ILR is approved .

Hope this info will help others in similar situation where they have Tier 2 ICT visa issued before April 2010 and have continuous visa since then in either tier 2 ict or tier 2 general category
