Hi ,
Can any one guide me regarding life in uk test ,if I just do the mcqs which is given on line ,will I pass the test ??
As of course reading the book only u cannot retain all d everything ?Kindly guide me d share any links for McQs if you know .I have to take this test as soon as possible .

If by McQs you're referring to mock practice questions, you can't guarantee that these will be the questions which come up in the actual test. if you haven't done so already, I recommend that you either purchase the official study book, or borrow a copy from your local library and enlist the help from someone who will test you on the answers.

I revised using the official books first and then subscribed to this site which has 2016 practice questions that get mixed up and any you get wrong will repeat. http://ukcitizenshipsupport.com/

You also get the book as MP3 if this helps you revise.

I would recommend reading the book atleast once and then use the online mock tests. I found out that there were a few questions that were not available online but were in my test from the book.

IMHO: I just did these tests online and passed.

They all have similar questions shuffled. The actual exam questions are a bit easier than these, so reaching an average of about 60-70% on all tests should pass you the exam.

Tips:
1) Attempt tests in a set of 5 or 10 tests, remember all correct answers (regardless of whether you answered correctly or not).
2) Repeat same set questions again.
3) Attempt all tests (at least 40-50 in total from all sites)

Do you need to read the book? I would suggest not.

Have I read the book? No. (actually yes, but just couldn't continue beyond a couple of pages, it's very boring.)

I can recommend reading the book and getting to grips with what makes this country the way it is. I have found it very insightful and, having had all editions since before 2011 (when it was mostly about daft statistics and claiming benefits etc) find the current version useful in that it gives you the kind of broad knowledge of UK history, politics and geography that you might gain from having grown up here.

As some one have told me that I have to book an appointment some 40 days before .

Appointments are currently only available to book 20-28 days in advance. Suggest start looking for a date in the beginning of July.

I think Najia means when to book the LIUK test.

Test results get to HO very quickly, I got my SAR back less than a week after doing the test and the SAR documents already contained the test pass result!

The test results are all delivered automatically and electronically to the Home Office, it wouldn't surprise me if it was done immediately.

I agree its better to go through official book once.

The reality is without reading the handbook at least one time it will be very difficult to pass the test.

This is not important to read the Full books but chapter 1, 2 and 3 is very important.

When some one pass the test they think its very easy. Yes its easy for them as they study and succeed.

During the real test due to excitement lots of peoples failed the test though they know the answer very well. because of the excitement they do not read the question very carefully.

My advice is:
1. Read the hand books
2. Give online practice test
3. During the real test read the question and answers carefully.
4. first answered the questions you are 100% confirm.
5. Where you confused Flaged the test for latter.
6. you will get 44 Minutes for the test. So, no rush.

I suggest you download the appropriate mobile apps to ease your preparation:

The good thing about using the apps is that you don't need to do 40 odd tests to be fully ready. They mostly cover questions that are similar to the exam. The bad thing is, of course, you have to pay, but it saves you time in the long run.
