Hi All

I am new to the site so please bare with me.

I am British and my husband is on a 2 year spouse visa from Pakistan. His visa is due to expire on 30th September 2016

1. When can I apply for his indefinate leave to remain?
2. I work n so does my husband. After maternity leave I decided to go back to work n when I claimed child benefit I was told I am also eligible to claim childcare cost of child tax credits as my lil one was in daycare for most the week...will this affect my husband's ILR application/decision??
3. On the ILR form it says to select which benefits you are getting do I select child benefit and child tax credits as they will show up on my bank statements that I will be sending with the application??
4. What is the cost for application?? I know I pay for the application n some kind of a health check..is that correct...

Thanks in advance n I really hope someone can help me out as searching the web has driven me insane n confused.

Sham

Are you sure he has a visa valid for 2 years and not 2.5 years?

When did he apply for his visa?

Hi

I applied for his visa back in 2012 under the old rules but it took us a few years getting him here

His visa was issued in July 2014 n expires in September 2016

i will let others comment, but the benefits u said u were claiming is u and not him.
The form is being filled by him and he is not claiming these benefits. He will only need to declare benefits that he is claiming on his own name .. not yours and not joint name.

1. Shortly before he reaches 2 years residence.

2. Child tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse. I hope you have claimed it like this and not on your name only. Child benefit in your name only.

3. As iworker said, you list what you claim.

4. ILR cost is £1,875 for a postal application and £2,375 for an in person appointment. Immigration health surcharge is NOT payable for ILR applications.
