P60/P45 mistakes and ILR

Hi All,

I am on Tier 2 (Gereral VISA) and I want to ask two questions which are in relation to ILR that is due soon.

Problem 1:

P60 issued by my emaployer this year has wrong name details on it. My name is Masood Ahmed, they placed surname as "Masood" and forename as "A". Where as the correct Surname is "Ahmed" and forename is "Masood". Also it's printed on plain paper and with black and white printer.

Can any one please guide if this will cause any problem when I will apply for ILR or any other immigration related matter? I am planning to send P60 along with ILR application.

Problem 2:

My previous employer had issued P45 in 2015 but the figures doesn't match with HMRC calaculation they sent me recently. Also the P45 sent was electronic via email.

Can anybody please guide if it can cause a problem my ILR in future? I am not planning to send P45 with ILR application but there is difference between HMRC records and actual salary posted to my account and tax details.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Masood Ahmed

P60s are issued by the employer not HMRC. Probably you can talk to your employer and get it corrected. Ask them to re-issue one if there is an option to do it.

They might have printed in black and white to save the cost. Ask for the PDF image after they made the correction. You can then print it yourself on a color printer if required.
