Can't find my old Tier 2 visa -Does HO keep old BRP cards??

Hi all

I have been on Tier 2 general for more than 5 years and now applying for ILR. As my contract was renewed annually for the first 3 years, so I in principle should have 4 granted Tier 2 general visas. I just found that I have only the latest two in the format of biometric residence permit card, the one for 2013-2014 and the one for 2014-2017, but can't find the first two. I even can't remember if they were both BRP cards or visa stamps in my passport. I checked my old and new passport and there is only my student visa prior to my work. So I suspect the first two must be BRP cards, but I can't find them. Does Home Office normally keeps the old ones when issuing a new one? but if that's the case, it doesn't explain why I have the one for 2013-2014.

Do you know if HO does keep the old cards? otherwise, it would mean that I have lost the olds cards and I worry how I can prove that I have been working under Tier2 for 5 years?

My appointment is next Friday!!

Any input will be very much appreciated!

Nina

Yes they keep them.

No, you do not need ALL old BRPs, you only need the most recent. HO will have your immigration record.

Thank you so much! I was so worried...

Can I ask another question here? I only have the last 4 year P60s with me (can't find the one for the first year  ). From the set (O) form, it doesn't look like that I will need to show P60s for applying under Tier 2 general, but it also seems that people often provide them. Do you think that this will be an issue? Thanks again!
