All absences from the UK must be declared.

This is my 2nd company in UK. I have been out from UK for 29 days.
I have taken the holidays but was in UK.
I am not on self employment and staff employee.
Do I still need a letter from company. Company letter will not show that I was in UK.

Indefinite leave to remain: calculating continuous period in UK wrote:Evidence in the form of a letter from the employer which sets out the reasons for the absences, including annual leave, must be provided. Where short visits outside the UK, on weekends or other non-working days have taken place, evidence from the employer should be provided to confirm the applicant’s normal working pattern and show the absences occurred during a non-working period. Tier 1 (General) applicants who are self-employed or in business must provide a letter of explanation of their business-related absences.
However, if you were in the UK, then you were not absent from the UK.
