Urgent help regarding Vary my application!!!

Dear members,
Hope you are all doing well. I havw recently applied my Tier 1 entrepreneur extension. Now I'm completing my 10 years long residency at the begining of January. I havent received Biometric letter for tier 1 entrepreneur extension yet so I guess I wont be licky enough to get decision at the beginning of January for tier 1 entrepreneur. This is why I am planing to vary my application to ILR LR.
Kindly anyone help me with the procedures of variation application if someone already done it please do help me.
Secondly if someone have covering letter for variation application please do sebd me as I don't understand what to mention according to law.
