Another Biometric Enrolment after Variation?

Please help clarify, good people.
I and my dependant wife varied our FLR(FP) application to ILR(LR) and FLR(FP) Main applicant, respectively. She just got a letter to go for another bio enrolment, despite the fact we already done one on the initial undecided application. I had thought variation doesn't require another fee/bio. Do I assume that letter is correct, and go for another one?

I recently varied my application and will be going for my PEO appointment in 2 weeks. I received a biometric letter for my initial(FLR) application and have been told that I'll have to retake biometric again when I go to my appointment.

So I'm guessing you would also have to do another biometric as this will be your main application.

Thanks fahadii123. As I haven't gotten my own request for a repeat bio enrolment, that could mean they are delaying then, especially as my wife's was delivered on the Thursday of last week. I hope no delay is in the pipeline.
