Hi,

I have applied ILR (T1 G) on 1 June 2016, received exceptional complex letter in Nov 2016, and no response as yet. My 10 years is about complete in Jan 2017 so I am wondering is it wroth changing application?

Application history as follows:

1:- T1 (G) received in 2010/11 (limited company + employment) revised self assessment documents sent to HMRC in April 2016 but they replied that information is over 5 years old, therefore can't be updated. Corporation Tax amended and paid in Aug 2016.

2:- T1 (G extension) in 2013 (self employed) all tax paid

Any advise pls?

You will still face the same issue over tax amendments/discrepancies with a LR application.

Thanks Casa for your prompt response.

In 10 years route will I not get the appeal and right to work in worst case scenario?

Note for PBS migrants:
"From 1 December 2016, you will only be able to exercise the right to appeal in the UK on human rights grounds if “serious irreversible harm” would occur or if it will be a breach of your human rights if you are unable to appeal from the UK."
