I have recently applied for visa extension (Tier-1 General dependent) for my kids via postal application within UK and got their visa approved but the visa approved is not from the date of previous visa expiry date. So this creating a gap of 30 days as after this 3yrs I have to apply for ILR within UK under Tier-1 General dependent category wondering if this 30 day gap caused due to postal application will cause any issue during ILR application? Note that I had sent the application 1 month before the expiry date but they took 2 months to process the application and approve the new extension which created 1 month gap. Pls advise.

It never is. HO don't tag into onto the last expiry date. It is valid from date of decision.
