ILR Rejected and have applied for JR

Hi
I had my ILR rejected after 5years on Tier1 G. My AR was also refused but i had applied for a JR in Oct. However, I received a letter of 'Liability for Detention' or removal from the HO and am required to be reporting to the Police station monthly.
I have got an advice that the letter might have been send to me in error as my case is still in the court and a decision is yet to be made.
Please should i ignore the letter or not?
