Hi,

I am applying ILR as a Tier 2 General (5 year route) and wanted to confirm the list of documents required (apparently they change quite often so wanted to be sure)

- All Passports and BRP
- 6 Month Bank Statement, 6 Month Payslips, last 3 years P41
- A Letter from employer stating my annual salary, SOC code, confirming that the salary is higher than the required amount under the respective SOC code and stating that I will be required to work for the foreseeable future
- Life in UK Pass Certificate
- SELT Grade B1 pass Certificate
- 2 photographs

Are these documents enough?
I have two more questions:
A. In the application they seem to require some evidence of my absences from UK (including paid ones). Could it be my passport where I have the immigration stamps? My absences are not higher than the allowed limit (90 Days per year)

B. In the application they seem to require some evidence that I stayed in UK for last 5 years as a Tier II General. I did not work for the same company for last 5 years. What possible evidence shall I provide?

Regards,
Jai

Hello Jai,

Letter from employer stating the list of absences from UK seems to be missing from the list.

Did you get the absence letter from your previous employer(s) as well? If not, I think you need to provide a letter explaining why you couldn't.

Otherwise, it seems okay.

Dont forget to take photocopies of all supporting documents.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.
For proof of absence from my previous employer, I am writing a letter that my point of contacts in the previous company are not reachable anymore and I am attaching bank statements for the respective period to prove that I was paid salary as normal.
