Please i need good advice because i really need the help sir/ma.
I came to the country in 2007 with 6 month visa i renewed in 2007, i got resident permit, i keep the renewed going every 6 month. in 2010, my renewer was refused, then i went for appeal the appeal was invalid that is what i got from Tribunal detertation.

i reapply on a fresh application in 2010/11, it was granted another 6 month resident permit.
till 2014 when i want to renew a solicitor told me to put in SET (O) And i did, after 6 month i got reply from Home Office and it was refused. i was told that am not up to 10 yrs in country, i put in and APPEAL and it was allowed in 2014/15
Appeal allowed on Re-consideration and the application was send back to Home office since 2015, i have i have not hear from them till now and this is 2017. i called home office i was told that caseworker will get back to me
Please sir/ma i need responces now am in Uk sin 2007 till now 2017, by end of this month i will be 10year in the country, Can i put in another application for ILR or SET (O). I also got 6 month refused from 10years long resident Also am waiting for reply from home office the outcome of appeal reconsideration.
PLEASE ADVICE ME ON WHAT I NEED TO DO THANKS.

What visa exactly did you arrive on, apply for and get during your time here? You mention residence permit which implies EEA/EU route.

What date did you enter the UK in 2007?

I came to the country with visitor visa from west Africa to join the british army in 2007, but my selection application took very long my Barb test was expire i have to sit it again after 2 yrs and my medical took long long time before it clear. during the process i use to get and extention on resident permit for 6 month

I don't know what is happening with Home Office giving effect to ILR allowed appeal.

I had an ILR long residence appeal allowed in April, and the other in December last year.

For all other appeal, Sheffield will write following the decision of SAT( Specialist Appeal team) not to appeal, informing the appellant that they will be giving effect to their appeal.

However in these 2 cases, these reply were never received, even though the home office has decided they will not appeal.

It is a strange state of affair.
