Dear Moderators and Senior Members

I am in the process of posting Set (F) form along with other documents to Home Office for my children's ILR. I got my ILR in 2015 through Tier 1 General visa and my wife got her ILR last week as Tier 1 General dependent using premium service. She made her application using Set (O) form. Do I need to submit me and my wife's original BRP along with Set (F) forms or photocopies will do. Kindly advise.

I am submitting below mentioned documents along with Set (F) from, Kindly advise if I am missing any thing:

• Original Birth Certificates (from India)
• Children's passports and BRP
• My bank statements for past 3 months
• My P60 for 2015-16 and past 2 months payslips
• Utility bills - gas, electricity and water under joint names
• My and Wife's ILR approval letter from Home Office (original)
• MY and wife's photocopies of passport and BRP
• Children's photographs
• Marriage Certificate
• HMRC's letter for receipt of child benefit - under my name

You can use Set(O) for the child.

Why did you not include the child with your wife's ILR application?

Many thanks for your prompt response.

I was not sure whether wife will get her ILR because of her significant absences out of UK.

I have already filled in Set (F), shall I change it to Set (O). Kindly advise.

Also I would be grateful, if you could respond to previous queries including submission of original or photocopies of BRP.

You can use either form, Set(O) I believe has less supporting documents, but it is your choice which one you use.

If applying by post, you can send certified copies of your passport and BRP card.

Many thanks for swift response.

I assume photocopies need to be self certified . Please advise if I need to get it certified by solicitor/doctor or accountant. If so can I certify it myself as I am a certified chartered accountant. Also could I request you to have a quick browse through the list of documents which I am attaching with application and advise if I have missed something which would materially affect the application. I tried to dig for a standard list of documents in old posts and on Home Office's website but was unable to find anything tangible.

The Post Office can certify it for a small fee.

Wouldn't be right if you certify your own passport and BRP would it?

I don't have experience of Set(F) but you should follow what the form says, page 33 onwards. That is why I said Set(O) requires less paperwork.
