Spouse ILR when sponsor working abroad

Hello experts,
I am a British citizen and my wife and daughter are on FLR (M) and they are in the UK now with me. Their ILR is due in 2018.
I got a job (fixed term contract) in middle east and is inclined to take that up due to the current economic downturn. I will be paid in non-UK bank account.
My thought was to leave wife and daughter back in the UK and I visit them often (4 to 5 times a year).
We still have the co-habitation evidences like tenancy agreement, council tax bill, joint bank accounts etc.
I can be physically present in the UK while she make the ILR application.
My wife doesnt work at the moment.
Does my work abroad cause issue as the rule says "present and settled person" dependents can only apply for ILR from an FLR(route)?

I couldnt see anything on sponsor working abroad in the appendix though

She has to also satisfy
E-LTRP.1.7. and E-LTRP.1.10., etc.

It would be more useful if you started your own topic (New Topic Button on top left of sub forum page) with your circumstances and questions instead of continuing to post in an old thread.
