HMRC penalty effect on ILR

Hello everyone,

I'm on tier 1 entrepreneur extension visa (50k). I will apply for ILR in March 2019. I received a penalty notice of £100 from HMRC for late self assessment. I paid that and submitted my self assessment in October 2016.

My question is that late submission of self assessment will effect my ILR application.

If that is an issue for IRL then is there any other option for me after completing 5 years on tier 1 entrepreneur.

Thanks.

It should not on its own affect your ILR. However any tax discrepancies will certainly be investigated
