Tier 2 General to ILR Salary Concerns

Hello all,

I came to the UK in May 2013 as a Software Developer on 26K salary. I negotiated and received a 6K increment in January 2016 raising my salary to 32K. This increment was not reported to the HO via SMS because my employer was under an impression that only salary reductions are to be reported, increments are fine. However, it was declared in my extension application back in April 2016. Now I have secured another increment to raise my salary to 36K, which will be applicable from next month.

I am wondering if this is likely to raise any red flags when I apply for ILR in March next year?

Not necessarily but you must insist for your employer to comply with HO requirements and report this via SMS to HO.

Make sure this time your employer report this change within 10 working days from the applicable date.

Thanks
