FLR (M).....Applied July 2015..... Was held until Jan 2017
Jan 2017 requested for more documents which was sent on time
Feb 2017 requested for interview which we attended...,
March 2017... received letter saying they hope to treat the application within 8 weeks but might be longer as my case raise a complex issue blah blah :!: :!: :!: :!: .......
But up till now no respond from the case worker.
My Question is this..... with 28 days grace period i should be qualified for ILR by April 2017.
PLEASE should i varied the application or i should wait for their decision.
Also am thinking of doing the premium service as i could not bear to wait further months again...

Hi

I believe you can vary you current application to SET LR but you may not receive decision on the day if your premium application add they may need to retrieve your documents from another department. Except if you write a letter to the last address of any correspondence fro HO where your current application is instructing them to send your document to your premium appointment venue. I hope this helps.

Hi, i don't think he has to wait, once he is qualified for Long Residence, he can proceed and go for a Premium if he can afford it and he has no gaps or complications due to his faults. If you have any complications that was caused by the HO, then there's theirs to sort out not yours. Please act fast because HO can be very funny with the law most times. Good luck

No it is not. For premium service you have to pay an additional £590 on top of the £2297. Health surcharge is NOT payable for ILR.
