Hello,

I am quite sure this question was answered somewhere already, the only thing is I cannot find the topic :-).

Let me explain situation in few sentences. I am at the moment on Tier 2 General type of Work Permit. My wife and daughter are my dependents. We will be eligible to apply for ILR later on this year. My wife has UK Masters degree, and daughter is primary school pupil.

When applying for first visa (2012) I passed TOEFL English language exam. My question is, in order to apply for ILR do I have to pass the exam again, and what is my wife's situation in that regard. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
NesaUK

You possibly have to sit the SELT exam as TOEFL English language test is no longer accepted.
Your wife can score points for English with her UK Masters degree.
