Biometric application

Made a application 3rd of march by end of march I was send back the wrong date of birth emailed straight away to notify home office of the mistake still have not heard anything back. I can't work or claim benefit as the have all my documents I don't know what to do anymore please help. I have call home office but no help either am just waiting. No reference case number so I can work. Please any help will be appreciated.
