Hi,

I am applying for ILR based on 5 years continuous residence as Tier 2 Migrant. I am using Set(o) and I am slightly confused with question 6.1.

It states

When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based

Before my 5 years on Tier 2, I spent another 4 years as a Tier 4 student in this country. My Tier 2 was issued in-country at Croydon PEO.

Now should I put in the date of when I entered the country as a student? Or should I put in the date of when I was first issued a Tier 2 Visa? The question is confusing because the first part tends to ask for when I entered but the second one asks for the date that is related to my Tier 2.

The date when you were granted Tier 2 initially.

So, I ignore the fact about when you first entered the country altogether?

Your SET(O) application is not based on the date your entered the UK, right ???

No, its not. Its based on Tier 2 which was first obtained in person at Croydon PEO
