IELTS Life Skills B1

Hello Friends,
I am a dependent and my partner recently received the ILR. I didn't study in UK. I have gone through several forums and gov.uk websites but English Language requirement seems still vague to me. There are so many tests and so many levels. Even there is a pdf in gov.uk website with a long list of approved test. For my category (dependent applying for ILR), which is the most appropriate test? Looks like 'IELTS Life Skills at B1 - Speaking and Listening' seems most suitable. Can anyone please confirm whether it is the appropriate test to take?
