My ten years will be completed on 4th Sep 2017.
Which is best day to apply for premier service.

You can apply anytime WITHIN 28 days. I fail to understand why members always want to apply exactly on the first day of the 28 days.

Yes, and that same human nature has resulted in refusals for some members due to being over eager and applying ONE day too early in person.

My opinion only, I have never taken risks where HO is concerned.

Can you point to any recent examples of this happening? I've searched the forum and can see lots of questions about this but not any outright refusals on this basis.

I'm only curious as I'm trying to weigh the risk of applying in person 10 days early and being refused vs overstaying by 10 days and being refused (I have a 10-day gap to bridge between expiry of current leave and eligibility for 10yr ILR).

No I don't have the links to specific members as I cannot recall everyone who posts.

Please start your own topic with your circumstances and immigration history rather than tag onto another members thread.
