ILR after 6 years discretionary leave- child over 18

Hi All,

I really hope to have some answers to my question as I have spent hours on the phone waiting to get connected to someone at the home office!

I have completed 6 years discretionary leave on 24th July 2017. My original application was made on 24th July 2011 whereby my wife and at the time my 18 year old daughter were both named on the application form as my dependant and received 3 years discretionary leave. I then received a further 3 years from 10th September 2014 to 9th September 2017.

My question is I am applying for ILR using form Set 0 and would like to know if my daughter who is now 24 years old but who has always been my dependant throughout my discretionary leave should apply for ILR as an individual seperate from my application?

Many Thanks

The form clearly states children 18 and over must complete their own application form.

Hi

I managed to speak to someone at the home office over the phone yesterday and they said that so long as she was my dependant on the original application she can still be added as my dependant in the ILR application. I am now confused
