ILE with expired validity date on BNO passport

I have an Indefinite Leave to Enter on my old British National Overseas passport. Although indefinite leave, by definition, will not expire, the ‘validity date’ of ILE on the visa matches the expiry date on the passport. I am yet to apply to transfer my visa to my new passport.

Would I still be able to enter and leave the UK carrying both my old passport with ILE visa stamp and new BNO passport without the ILE visa stamp?

Thank you Vinny, you legend! I suppose I have no choice but to travel with my old expired BNO passport that has the ILE stamp with expired validity date and the new BNO passport issued. So I hope your "possible" to enter UK answer is definite, wish me luck. I do not think I have sufficient time to transfer ILE visa to my new passport before heading back to UK. I may not have enough time to apply for BRP while in UK either. Cheers
