family visa, from dependent to parent, when to apply for ILR

Hi, my husband has ILR (via 10 year route). My daughter is a British citizen. I have a student visa.
I would like to apply for ILR via 5 year route as a dependent (2.5years +2.5 years).
The thing is, my relationship with my husband is not quite stable. But we want to work on it. So we don’t want to have a divorce right now (though we have discussed about it and considered it).
However, I understand that I can’t apply for the 2.5 year family visa as a parent to my child, if I am married.
So, I must apply for the 2.5 year family visa as a partner.
I know, during the 5 years, if my marriage falls apart, I can apply for a new 2.5 year family visa as a parent to my daughter.
My question is: if that happens (i.e., having a divorce in 5 years), when can I apply for ILR? Is the 60 months calculated from the time I first get a family visa as a dependent? Or from the time I get a new family visa as a parent?
Many Thanks.
