HELP!!! NTL Application Confusion

Hi everyone,

I recently changed my name legally (by deed poll) back in March 2017 and I was advised to apply for NTL for a new BRP by the way I have Indefinite Leave To Remain. About two weeks ago I got a letter from HO asking for original birth certificate for my new name ......yes they wanted a birth certificate for the new name (how stupid is that??) . So i wrote back and explain to them that it will be impossible for me to provide that and asked the case officer if the document i enclosed on my NTL application is sufficient for progressing my case.

Fast foward a week later (today) i get a letter from same case officer apologising for requesting wrong information, he now wants evidence of birth certificate of my previous name or if it was recognized by my home country. This is not possible as I never had birth certificate and I escaped percussion in my home country and came here to seek asylum in the UK. I need to provide this by 12th Sept 17and I fail my application will be considered based on documents that I have already provided and this may result in my application be refused under paragraph 322(9)of the Immigration Rules.

My question is, what do i do now/? I can't provide birth certificate neither can my home country authorities, don't think its even existed. Has anyone had same or similar case like mine? If they refuse my application does it mean my ILTR will be revoked?

Please if anyone know or has some advice I would much appreciate.
Thanks in advance.

MAIK465,

If you do not have a sensible opinion on OP's concern why can't you keep to yourself. Who are you to judge people? You were once banned on this forum but you managed to come back with another user name! Please get yourself busy with things that will better your life rather than judging people and providing an absurd opinion on the forum.
