Hi,

I'm looking for an answer to this question but is a student bursary a public fund, when we enquired last it did not come under it but was seen as maintenance payments. as my wife who has no recourse to public funds (nrpf) Conditions while she was on her spouse visa.

I would like to add she applied through college and her passport was shown with the NRPF condition. Thanks.

She will be applying for her DLR when it reaches 6 years next year, will this still be an issue?

Also i have read Paragraph 6 immigration rules and i cant see anything in regards to student bursary being a public for immigration purposes. I have check her DLR documents including her notice of refusal back in 2012 and nothing is mentioned about claiming public funds.

I have also posted this at the 'claiming benefits' section by mistake as i think it should have been made here, so please delete as appropriately.

You did post in ILR sub forum but I moved it to benefits sub forum as you are asking a question about benefits.

Also, a reminder to please keep all your questions on the same ILR application in ONE topic.
