Hi,

I will keep this short, regarding the income Requirements for any application involving a spouse dependant.

Would both incomes be counted as one to meet the requirements?

Or is it necessary for the dependant spouse to meet the. Financial requirements alone? Even if the British partner is meeting that requirement?

Either person can meet the requirement for an application within the UK. There is no requirement for the person on a spouse visa to even work if they choose not to.

It is only for applications outside the UK that only the British spouses' income will be considered.
