Hi,
Situation : the employer withdraws Tier 2 General sponsorship just before (say a month) a person is eligible for ILR application and the curtailment letter has not yet been received as on the day of the ILR application.
Will the ILR application be valid ?
Thanks,
bariaji

Will the ILR application be valid ?
No. You need to be sponsored at the time of ILR application. You also need a letter from your employer that you are 'required for the foreseeable future in the position of XYZ....'.

I have a similar problem but my wife has ILR, will my 5 years continuous stay reset if I move to become her defendant? Is there any other way to avoid missing out on the 5 year route?

Kindly start your own topic with your circumstances and questions rather than tagging onto another members thread. It is considered rude and is unfair to the original post of this topic.
