Hi All

I am applying for ILR ( 10 year route) ( currently on tier 1 ext. visa, expiring on 7th Oct). My wife (dependent's) visa is expiring same day but she is here only from 2010

Should i be applying ILR for both or ILR for me and extension for my wife ?

Also please kindly advise which forms to use. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks
Deep

ILR LR does not permit dependents to apply with you, so no, you cannot apply for your wife.
or ILR for me and extension for my wife ?

She will need to apply to switch to FLR(M) and meet all the requirements (English and financial/income).

Many Thanks for your quick reply.

Also my son, born last year, we have not applied for his Indian Passport yet. Do i have to apply for him as a dependent as well or once my ILR is approved, apply for his naturalization ?

Thanks again for your quick and kind help.

If he is UK born, you can register him as British once you get your ILR.
