ILR and Employment Gap / 28 Days Rule

Initial Grant of Visa - Tier-2 (General): Jan'2010.
I was working here in the UK for an Indian corporate, but had to travel back and forth till May'2011.
Then came back to work long term on the same old visa on the 4th Dec'2011. Extended visa for further 3 yrs in Jan'2012. In mid-Oct'2014 had change of employment. Started new job mid-Nov'2014. 25 Days Employment Gap.

I guess I do qualify to apply for ILR on 5 years continuous residence in Dec'2017. I plan to avail same day PEO service. Will this 25 days employment gap affect me adversely? (I know it should be less than 60 days.)
Can I can apply anytime after 6th Nov'2017 OR should I wait and apply only on or after 4th Dec'2017 due to this 25 days change of employment gap?

Also could you please advice if I should seek solicitors advice because of my irregular immigration history.

Thanks,R

Came to UK in Jan'2010. Went back in May'2010. Again back to UK in Oct'2010 and went back in Dec'2010. Returned in Jan'2011 again back to Indian in May'2011. Different cities different clients. During this period I worked as Indian employee only paid allowances in UK. This continued even after I came back in Dec'2012 for long term. Finally in April'2014 they shifted me to UK payroll with UK only salary. After that I changed job in Nov'2014. So I could only show last 3 years P60 and P45 received from previous company.

It would have been helpful to include that detail in your opening post instead of stating 'irregular immigration history'.
