Hi ,

Currently am in sponsored Tier2 General Visa through my employer and am eligible for ILR from this month onwards.My wife is staying in UK as my dependent from past 1.5 years and she is having valid visa upto 25-11-2018. Actually my query,once my Visa is converted in ILR what will happen to my Wife's Visa. Do i need to responser her immediately or she can continue with her current visa itself upto validity period.

If you apply for ILR based on Tier 2 General with 5 years residence, she can continue to on her existing visa and extend it until she qualifies for ILR with 5 years residence as a PBS dependent.

She DOES NOT have to switch visas to ILR dependent.
