Hi guys
I'm planing to apply for lLR on basis of long residence. A little background of my immigration history are as follows:-
First entry in UK: 9th November 2007 student visa
With subsequently extensions through out. With just One refusal switching from psw to tier 2
Application made in time 15th June 2014 - psw visa exp on 31st July 2014. Received refusal letter on 4th August 2014 with appeal right......submitted new application within 10 days in person without exercising the right of appeal. Visa application succefull for three year. Applied for tier 2 extension in Aug 2017 - visa successfull received on 3rd Oct 2017.
My questions are if I apply for ILR on long residence what are my chances as I fall for refuse when I switch my visa from psw to tier 2?
Also what will happen to my dependents. My wife join me in Sept 2009 and I have one kid 3 year old born in UK?
Please guide me which application forms I need to use for my application and for my dependants?
I look forward for your replies.
Thanks in advance (Umar)

If you are successful with your ILR, you can apply to register your child as British on form MN1.
What visa does your wife currently hold and how long is it valid for?
She should switch to FLR(M) once you are granted ILR.

I am not sure about the refusal question which is why I have not answered it.
Your wife will need to switch to FLR(M) sooner rather than later if she has any travel plans out of the UK. She cannot apply for ILR based on PBS Dependent route.

Thanks again for your valuable advice.
So this mean if I get ILR on long residence than my wife visa need to switch to spouse partner and the time already spent in UK will be reset to 0.
Please guide me if I'm incorrect can she still apply for ILR on long residence basis when she completes 10 year continous leave in Sept 2019.

Yes but ONLY for ILR based on 5 years residence. She will still be able to apply for ILR based on long residence IF she meets all the requierments in 2019.

IMO, you should be fine.
You were not an over stayer by more than 28 days, and have not had a break to invalidate the LR.

Thanks I worker for your reply.
Please see list of documents I'm submitting with my application and I am making application through the premium service.
1. All pervious and current passports
2. Current Brp
3. Bank statements for last three months
4. Life in UK certificate
5. BAcc degree with transcript
6. Letter from current employer
7. Mortgage statements since I've been in this house
8. Utility and council bills
Do you think I should add more documents just to cover every year since Nov 2007 when I came to UK?
I look forward of your reply. Thanks (Umar)

Thanks again Iworker.
Can you also guide me. I've booked premium service for ilr on 10th Nov 2017. My ten years will be completed on same date above.
My question is I've just been informed by Hr dept that company sponsorship licence has been suspended on 25th Oct 2017 and we have 20 days to provide them more details on couple of company work permit employees. My name is not in the list. What do you think would home office will consider my application or shall I cancel or change my booking. As far as my knowledge n research says that I've lawfully completed 10 years and I can apply for ilr within 28 days of qualifying period.
Please guide me on this. I look forward for your prompt reply. Thanks Umar

Set(O) won't be processed on the day if the sponsor licence is in suspension.
If you apply long residence ILR, your dependents have only one option of FLR(M) which will reset their clock.

Should be fine for Set(LR). It is Set(O) that would be held.
