Hello Everyone,
1.My father is former Gurkha British Amry.
2.He had obtained his ILE and had entered UK only for a week and came back to Nepal.
3.Recently, we all decided to get settled in UK at once. Hence, we(me,my brother, sister and mother) applied for ILE.
4. All of them got settlement: ILE, however i got PBS dependant visa
5. In my vignette, its labelled as,
observation : PBS dependant restricted work no public fund no sportsman
6. My question is,
a : Should i be getting ILE too being child of Fomer Gurkha Army
b : Can they be mistaken in labelling me as PBS dependant as my sibling got ILE
c : What does restricted work means in Vignette. Will i not be allowed to work full time
d : Can I have it resolved by enquiring to HOme Office about why is got PBS depandant rather than ILE

P.S. I am adult child (age 28). Also my brother is adult child( age 20)

hi
raju jee that is mistake my sister had the same issue what you need to do is first enter the uk and when you collect your bio metrics from the nearest post office double check if it is correct then there is no issue however if it is pbs dependent again then you need to apply for a new biometrics which will cost like 35 pound extra and you need to send the biometrics to ukvi there is a page where you can apply when the biometrics is incorrect they will sort it out in a week or so time. i had a first hand experience about this with my sister so created account to answer your question you can get in with that visa and change that here in uk with 35 pound extra also congratulation for ile and welcome to uk
hope it helps

I agree, it is a mistake as that is not what you had applied for and neither do you qualify in that category, as you ought to have been issued with an ILE aswell. I believe you should contact them to clarify it.
