Hi All
Need a bit more clarification about the 180 days out of country rule. I was out of the country in year 1 for 130 days, Year 2 for 22 days and year 4 for 29 days. which total becomes 181 days. So I want to know this 180 days out of the country is every single year or also count towards whole 5 years as well.
Sorry I forgot to mentioned that these were under Tier1 General Visa.

thanks

180 days PER 12 month cycle, counted backwards from the date you apply for ILR.

thanks CR001. If I understand you correctly you saying that from date of ILR we need to count backwards and every year less then 180 days should be fine, although over all in 5 years it becomes more than 180 days is ok but every single year should be less than 180 days.

Yes, it is fine. It does not say 180 days for the WHOLE 5 years.
