NARIC confirmation - English Language Assessment enough for ILR ?

Hi

I am applying for ILR soon (Tier1 G route) and I need help regarding English language proficiency evidence.

My degree is from outside UK. So I need confirmation letter from NARIC. There are two services:
1) English Language assessment - around £60
2) Visas and Nationality service - £150.

I would like to know if I can proceed with option# 1 above as it is cheaper? or do I need to go for option #2?

Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Krish

Thank you very much.

I found below in the immigration rules. I have been granted Tier 1 general in 2010 and I have extended it twice. So as per below rule I do not have to apply for NARIC confirmation as I met the requirement in previous leave. Am I right?

Immigration Rules Appendix B: English language

Met requirement in a previous grant of leave
11. Subject to paragraph 15 below, 10 points will be awarded for meeting the requirement in a previous grant of leave if the applicant: (i) has ever been granted leave

as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant, a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant or Business person, or a Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) Migrant, or
(ii) has ever been granted leave as a Highly Skilled Migrant under the Rules in place on or after 5 December 2006.

NARIC confirmation needed for ILR if leave previously granted ?

Hi
Please if someone has gone through my situation or anyone is sure of above please suggest if I can safely go to ILR appointment without NARIC confirmation based on the above immigration rule.

Thanks in advance.
