urgent help required on ILR application

Dear gurus,

I'm applying ILR with my wife next Friday (based on my 5 years Tier 2). We only found out today that she was supposed to report her new passport (got it in September) to the police and got her police registration certificate stamped for the change. Will this affect her ILR application if we go ahead without get her police registration certificate updated?

We could go to local police and report the change on Monday, but they need to send the certificate to the headquarters so cannot guarantee we can get the document back by Thursday. it is quite difficult to reschedule the ILR appointment and we really want to avoid delaying it.

I would be very grateful if anyone can shed some lights on this.

Many thanks,

Joey

If you live outside London, the certificate will be updated at the station. In London, you must get it updated in person at The Overseas Visitors Records Office (OVRO) only. It should be straightforward

thanks for the information. I live outside London, was told the local station cannot stamp on the letter so will try their headquarters tomorrow...
