SET(F) for UK born baby

Dear Guru,
To cut long story shot, I may have to apply ILR for my daughter who was born before me and my wife settled.
initially I was going to register her as British with MN1 form, but we have travel plan in Feb and MN1 application takes 2-3 months or even longer.
I think I have to apply ILR for her with premium service so it can be decided in January.
Am I right to use SET(F)? it's not clear on UKVI's website what needs to be done.
Many thanks,
Joey

I believe child has a
choice of SET(O) or SET(F).

one thing I forgot to mention, my daughter hasn't got any UK visa yet as she was born here and never left the UK yet.

Hi
Thanks for the prompt reply. Could you explain a little bit more?
I'm struggling to find anywhere on UKVI's website which refers/links to SET(F).
It appears children can only apply as dependent on SET(O), not main applicant? I might be wrong though.

Many thanks, I'll have a look at them.
One thing I forgot to mention is that my daughter hasn't got any visa at the moment as she hasn't left the UK since birth. will this make any different?

Should be okay.
Thanks for your help, vinny
do you know if there is any way to speed up the MN1 form application? something like the premium service?

Perhaps via
NCS?
vinny, thanks for the answers to all my questions. I will give NCS a ring on Monday and then decide what to do.
Thanks again and have a good weekend!

vinny, may I ask one more question? if we have plan to travel in Feb, is ILR for my daughter the only feasible option in terms of time scale? or can I just take my daughter to travel and apply things later? she may be staying with grandparents for a little while.

She doesn't need ILR for
registration. Perhaps start the MN1 process and, when successful, apply for a
British passport? Use
JCAP?

Thanks vinny. I understand she doesn't need ILR to register British. my previous question probably wasn't clear.
We plan to take our daughter back to China in Feb, if we start MN1 process now she won't get her British passport in time for the travel, can she still leave the UK and come back later? So I thought the ILR was our only option to take our daughter to China and bring her back in Feb. As the premium service only takes days to get everything sorted. Is this right?
