Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is khurram, we came to UK in feb 2010, we applied asylum same year in july, but were granted DL for 2 and half years in november 2013. and later on we extended it in 2016. I have 4 children, two were came with me in 2010 and two were born here later, My question is there any way can i apply for children's settlement now if they have completed 7 years in this country? or i have to complete 10 years route from 2013 when they were granted 2 and half years leave to remain first time?
thanks.

As far as I’m aware, there are no provisions to grant children ILR before the parent(s), except under Long residence.

Thanks for your time. Next year at the time of our extension of current leave to remain, my children’s 9 years will complete in this country, and 3rd child who was born here will complete about 8 years. Do they fall into long residence category for iLR or not yet?

Not yet. They require at least 10 years.
