Switched to 10 years & interview

Post by Sva_avs » Thu Dec 21, 2017 4:03 pm

Dear moderators and members

Tier 1 entrepreneur ext application as a team 50k route
I varied my tier1 entrepreneur to 10 years SET(LR) on august. I got a call and email from HO case worker for an interview for both of us.

paid full amounts fees on both applications

my question is
1) can i let the case worker know, i varied my application to 10 yr set(lr)?
2) can i request to refund tier1 entr extn application fees?

thank you

1) Yes, you should clarify with the CW about your variation to SET (LR). But they possibly know it anyway.
2) You are eligible for a refund though I am not clear at which point in time you will get the refund. No harm asking for it but it possibly won't happen until the decisions are made.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

I am on the same board. Few quick question
1. Did you informed to compliance officer via email or phone?
2. What did you said to compliance officer you have varied application and you don't want to attend the interview.?
3. What's the nature of your business.?
4. Do you have office premises or working from home.?
5. Can you please share your immigration history.?
6. Did they took the interview separately or together.?

Please answer to my above questions, that will be a great help.
