Hi
I am applying to set(o) ILR Tier 2 (general) route. My annual wage on the payslip is 36400. However after tax and deductions i get to my bank account 2890 £ where if i multiply by 12 for a year would be 34680 £. My questions is which of the two is the salary that HO consider for the 35k threshold.
Thank you

Its the gross salary not the net salary so your'e fine. The employer should mention this in letter this salary though.
QQ : If you salary is 36K+ how come after 30% taxes you get £2890 ? As per crrent Tax code you should be getting £2300+ every month after tax?

Thank you for your reply. The payslip says annual wage 36400 then i get 1500 for banding .So total around 4700 per months so with all the desuctions and tax it comes down to 2890 into my bank account
Question: i had a previous employer also tier 2 general. But the hmrc online doesnt show me any taxes for the first 3.5 years spent with that employer. Do u think the HO would reject my application based on those taxes and NI contributions for that employment?

Yes. You need to check with HMRC why its not showing that you were salaries and paid taxes !!! This need to be resolved otherwise it will be blocker for ILR
